Kerri Courtright Files to Run for Grundy County Board

Entrepreneur and small business owner Kerri Courtright filed her paperwork this
afternoon to run for the Grundy County Board in the 2nd District.
“I’ve taken risks and built businesses, some succeeding and other not, and along the
way learned what it takes to build a successful small business and create jobs,”
Courtright said. “As a Board Member I will use this experience to work to support our
businesses, promote our wonderful county, and encourage growth in order to create
more and better jobs for our hard-working residents. I will be a strong voice on behalf of
already over-taxed Grundy County taxpayers by fighting to cut spending so that we can
continue to reduce the tax burden on our residents and businesses. And I will work to
increase transparency so that we can avoid further Chicago-style scandals and
mismanagement of the public’s funds here in our county.”
